Oh yeah, baby, this was a great storm for the resorts! New snow here is as of Tuesday morning with storm totals Friday night through Tuesday morning.
Here are some highlights for this week: Sandia Peak open through Monday... Santa Fe is 96% open... Taos has just about everything open... Pajarito is open Monday and has weekday ticket deals... Angel Fire has great ticket deals for 50th anniversary... Sipapu has Kids Ski Free Week through Friday and other weekday ticket deals... Red River has January Bargain Days and the USSC Ski and Board Challenge this Saturday... Ski Apache has opened most of the mountain... Purgatory has Winterfest this weekend... |What's New: The Emerald Quad Chairlift has replaced the Green Chairlift at Summit Camp. The Emerald Quad provides better access to the gentle slopes of Summit Camp and acts as a portal to terrain served by the Silver Chairlift. The Emerald Quad will load on Green Acres and rise above that to the west with views of trails wandering among the aspens. The realignment along with the Emerald Quad Chairlift will carry skiers and riders to the ridge and access The West Bowl and the Silver Chairlift. This new chair has double the capacity of the old Green Chair.|
