This past spring, the Wind Of Change podcast examined whether the CIA wrote the Scorpions song of the same name as a way to accelerate the end of the Cold War.
Now filmmaker and Girls and Homecoming star Alex Karpovsky is turning the eight-part podcast into a television series for Hulu.
Spoiler alert: Scorpions singer Klaus Meine says the CIA had nothing to do with writing the song. "It's weird -- in my wildest dreams I can't think about how that song would connect with the CIA. I never heard this [rumor]. I am very much surprised. Someone wanted to take credit for the song?"
"Wind of Change" is the Scorpions' highest-charting single, having gone to number-four on the Billboard Hot 100.
