“Spider Apocalypse” Hits Australia

What’s being called a “spider apocalypse” is currently hitting Victoria, Australia. In some areas, like East Gippsland, you can see cobwebs cover large areas of landlike a sheet.” Experts say this isn’t an “apocalypse,” but a natural phenomenon that happens after heavy rains and flooding. Professor Dieter Hochuli says the weather simply forced the spiders to “move to higher ground…and build a new house.”
