Conor McGregor suffered a first-round defeat against Dustin Poirier over the weekend in UFC 264. Somehow, McGregor made it to the end of the round, while struggling to stay supported on a leg that was broken early into the festivities. Of course, even in defeat, McGregor has difficulty biting his tongue, and said Poirier’s wife was “in his DMs” and that he’d “chat to” him later. Among those who weren’t the least bit sad seeing the McGregor loss was Floyd Mayweather, who tweeted out a “thank you” to Dustin for helping him cash in on a $50K wager that McGregor would lose…gaining Mayweather a $35K profit.
