Corey Taylor is taking some time off the road after coming down with COVID-19. He’s taken to social media to let fans know he’s “very, very sick” with the virus.
The Slipknot frontman was supposed to play a couple of shows in Michigan this past weekend, but he had to call them off after getting sick. He’s hopeful he’ll be okay, especially since he’s vaccinated, but wants to be safe so he doesn’t “spread it to anyone else.”
“I wish I had better news. I woke up today and tested positive, and I’m very, very sick,” he adds. “Everybody be safe out there. And I will see you again, I promise.”
