In South Korea, a real-life version of “Squid Game” is currently being developed.
St. John’s Hotel has seen the staggering popularity of the show and is looking to capitalize. Their plan is to hold an October 24thevent, where the final survivor will win five million won, which equates to $4,178 in the U.S.
It should be stressed that their version of the game will be non-lethal, and open to “people of all ages,” and not just to guests of the hotel. To start, those who make a reservation will receive a business card with the phone number of the game’s organizer…just like on the show.
