Vince Neil Falls Off Stage & Breaks Ribs

Vince Neil broke some ribs Friday night when he fell off the stage while performing at the Monsters on the Mountain festival in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

He was singing Mötley Crüe’s “Don’t Go Away Mad (Just Go Away)” when he went away, falling into a small gap between the monitor and the stage that he clearly didn't know was there and landing on the concrete floor.

After Neil was helped up and brought backstage, his bassist Dana Strum told the audience, “He can’t breathe and he’s gonna get dealt with medically. He was so excited to be here. He lives in Tennessee. But he was willing to stick it out and tough it out when the people back here were telling him, ‘Don’t do it.’ Let’s have one good round of applause, please, for this guy.”

Neil was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital where X-rays determined that he indeed did break his ribs.

The band continued the set with guitarist Jeff Blando handling vocals.

Vince is now resting at home in Nashville.
