Jay Johnston, a regular voice on Bob's Burgers, has been given the boot after producers discovered his role in the January 6th insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.
Johnston, who's known for providing the voice for Bob's arch-enemy Jimmy Pesto Senior, is seen in numerous videos of the riot, which organizers hoped would overturn the 2020 election. Though he hasn't been charged with any crimes yet, producers have confirmed there are no plans to have him return in the near future.
The actor previously earned two Emmy nominations in the late '90s for his recurring role on Mr. Show. A Fox spokesperson declined the Daily Beast's request for comment.
