Kirk Hammett of Metallica has shared a track from his debut solo EP.
"High Plains Drifter" is from the all-instrumental Portals, which will be out on Record Store Day. The track has the same title as the 1973 Clint Eastwood film, and Hammett says, "The song was not meant to be specifically music for that film, but it was once it was written, I immediately thought it conveyed the same sentiment as the film, so the piece was christened accordingly."
