David Lee Roth Releases Live Version of "Dance the Night Away"

David Lee Roth has released the third of 14 songs he recorded this past May 3rd in two hours at Henson Recording Studio in Hollywood, California.

It's another Van Halen classic, "Dance the Night Away" from 1979's Van Halen II, but with an ending featuring a sample of "Gloria" from Them -- which featured Van Morrison on vocals -- followed by Roth doing a spoken word piece reminiscent of Jim Morrison and The Doors.

This follows Roth's previous re-recordings and releases of "Panama" and "Ain't Talkin' Bout Love."

Backing Roth on all the tracks are guitarist Al Estrada, bassist Ryan Wheeler and drummer Francis Valentino.
