It’s the battle of the reptiles! A woman in Florida’s video has gone viral after capturing footage of an alligator thrashing a python into next week before devouring it. Katina Boychew says she was visiting the Everglades last week when she spotted the gator in the marsh trying to chow down on the snake. At one point in the video, the gator goes full WWE and body-slams the python multiple times.
A rep for the park says snakes are considered “bite-sized food” for alligators so they are definitely a sought-after menu item. As for Boychew’s fear factor, she says she wasn’t scared at all. When asked how she felt, the hiker replied, “I knew he was preoccupied so he wasn’t gonna bother me.”
