Don’t miss the 2nd Rio Grande Doggy Paddle at the Rio Grande outside pool on Saturday, September 9th. First session is from 11:00AM – 1:00PM and the 2nd session is 1:00PM – 3:00PM. The cost is $5 per dog. Vaccination records are required for rabies, distemper, parvo virus and bordatella.
AWD will also be out at the Pooch Plunge on Saturday, September 9th from 10AM – 2PM at Haynes Pool Park. We will be taking out our adoption van to try and find homes for shelter pets.
To view and/or adopt pets, simply arrive at either of the open location. We are not able to move a pet from one location to another for your viewing. Anyone wanting to adopt a pet visit our website at www.cabq.gov/pets to see available pets.
