New! - General Admission
New! Value Nights - Evenings that we have historically seen with smaller crowds.
Flex Add-on - Only allowed with GA and allows guests the ability to exchange tickets
Extra Cheer Add-on - Upgrade experience with no time restriction, express lane entry, River of Lights collector pin, pair of holiday optics glasses
Elf Workshop Add-on - 18+ crafts experience on select nights
Low Sensory Nights - Guests can experience the River of Lights with modifications to make it a more sensory-supportive environment.
Santa’s Magical Experience - A Santa meet and greet, story time, snacks, a gift and VIP entry into River of Lights
New! Santa’s Beach Bash:The same as Santa’s Magical Experience except it’s after December 25, and Santa is now on vacation and in “beach mode.”

Timed Tickets must be purchased in advance and online only
We are expected to sell out the closer we get to Christmas
FREE Park & Ride at the ABQ BioPark Zoo EVERY NIGHT
Avoid traffic on Rio Grande and Central – utilize I-25 to head to the Zoo
Enter the event anytime during the timeslot on your ticket and stay as long as you would like
Closed December 24 and 25 so staff can spend the holidays with family
Over 700 lighted sculptures and millions of twinkling lights
Two River of Lights events including Santa’s Magical Experience (for the whole family) and Elf Workshop for 18+ (check out the website for more info…there is lots of it!)
New Mexico BioPark Society’s largest fundraiser. All proceeds support the ABQ BioPark.
