Lea Michele Allegedly Mocked Trans Model For Using Women’s Bathroom

Trans model Plastic Martyr claims Lea Michele once made fun of her for using the women’s bathroom.

Plastic is the latest star to come forward with unflattering allegations against the Glee alum, whom the 30-year-old recalled feeling “like a circus freak” after her alleged run-in with Michele at the 2010 Emmy Awards.

According to The Sun, Plastic said the humiliating encounter happened when she was in the early stages of her transition. She admits that, while she wasn’t familiar with Michele at the time, Plastic remembers crossing paths with her while with a group of friends.

“I was just trying to get out of there. I said, ‘Excuse me,’ and she's standing there blocking my reach,” Plastic recalled. “She goes, ‘Excuse me?’ and she looks at her friends, looks at me again, and says, ‘Excuse you, you're in the woman's bathroom.’”

As Plastic remembered the incident, Michele evidently brushed off the incident and carried on laughing with her friends. The model said the encounter made her feel insecure.

“I was dressed, I felt glamorous, and to hear that from somebody who I thought was so beautiful ... I went from feeling like I was on cloud nine to feeling like a circus freak,” Plastic explained.

Several of Michele’s former co-stars have been sharing their bad experiences with Michele.

It all started when Glee alum Samantha Ware broke her silence about feeling bullied by the Scream Queens star behind the scenes of the show.

Michele eventually issued a public apology after Ware accused her of making her time on the show a “living hell.” In a tweet, Ware claimed Michele threatened to defecate on her wig and subjected her to other “traumatic microaggressions.”

Fellow Glee star Heather Morris also described her experience working with Michele as “unpleasant,” whereas her Spring Awakening co-star Gerard Canonico said much of the same, accusing the singer of being a “nightmare” to work with.
