At least 30 people were injured early Sunday morning when the floor collapsed at an off-campus frat party near Clemson University in South Carolina.
Larissa Stone, a sophomore at Clemson University, told the Greenville News that it happened suddenly with no warning. "So everyone was jumping. The beat was about to drop, and literally the whole floor collapsed. People are under other people. People are hurt. People are bleeding. I had blood on my sneakers. It was really bad."
According to a statement released by Clemson Police Chief Jimmy Dixon, 30 people were hurt, but luckily no one was stuck in the wreckage. Dixon said, "We're just thankful that it was not any worse than it was." (The Washington Post)
