In case you missed it, System Of A Down singer Serj Tankian has lent his voice to the soundtrack of the final season of HBO’s “Game Of Thrones.” The soundtrack is due for release this summer, and fans are getting a preview with Tankian’s cover of “The Rains Of Castamere.”
Tankian has actually performed the rendition when “Game Of Thrones: A Live Concert Experience” hit Los Angeles two years back. His version is a little different than the previous recording byThe National,which was featured on the season two soundtrack of the hit show.
The season eight soundtrack drops on July 19th on CD and vinyl.Check out Tankian’s song to the right.
