SAMMY HAGAR: Puts Brakes on Road Show

Sammy Hagar's TV career comes to an end this Sunday with the finale of his AXS TV show,Rock & Roll Road Trip.

Debuting in 2016, Hagar will have done 56 episodes when it's all said and done.

“I can’t believe it’s been five years already,” says Hagar. “I set out to do one season of Rock & Roll Road Trip to see if I could pull off my own TV show and enjoy doing something I’d never done before. I never dreamed we’d do 56 episodes and five seasons. It’s been a blast.”

Sunday's night's show, King of the Road Live, has Sammy broadcasting from North Hollywood’s Woodshed Studios with never-before-seen footage, nostalgic retrospectives, bloopers, live performances and special guests.

Among the guests he's interviewed over the five years are Paul Rodgers,Todd Rundgren, Dave Grohl, Alice Cooper, Rick Nielsen, Billy Gibbons, Don Felder, Roger Daltrey, Brian May, Joe Walsh, Joe Elliott, Foreigner's Mick Jones, John Mellencamp, Mick Fleetwood, Nancy Wilson, Willie Nelson, James Hetfield, The Grateful Dead's Bob Weir and Mickey Hart, John Mayer, Sarah McLachlan and many others.

The hour-log finale airs at 9pm ET on AXS-TV.
