For the first time in over 20 years, Pantera is hitting the road. The surviving members of the band have signed a deal with Artist Group International to book some North American dates. Singer Philip Anselmo and bassist Rex Brown will be joined by unnamed musicians for the tour, and they’ll have enormous shoes to fill.
“Dimebag” Darrell was murdered during a show in Ohio in 2004, and his brother Vinnie Paul died from heart disease in 2018. One of the names rumored to join up is Zakk Wylde, who’s said before that he’d love to join up if “everything was lined up.” No show dates have been released so far.
