In the new Neil Peart documentary, Neil Peart: No One's Disciple, Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson perform six Rush songs with four of his drum buddies -- Stewart Copeland from The Police, Danny Carey from Tool, Chad Smith from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Gavin Harrison from Porcupine Tree and King Crimson.
Following a memorial for Peart in Los Angeles, where he lived, Geddy and Alex were planning to do a tribute to him in Toronto, but then COVID hit. So when the idea for the film came about, they felt this was a good way to honor him.
Neil Peart: No One's Disciple premiered earlier this month at the Toronto International Film Festival before airing on Canada's CBC network. While not officially released elsewhere, it has been posted on YouTube so watch it before it's taken down.
