ID# A1887167 – Winter is a 6 year old, Black, Alaskan Husky mix. She is super sweet, affectionate and easy going. Winter is excellent on leash, she is housetrained, knows “sit” and “shake”, overall she has a fabulous demeanor. Winter would make a great family pet, she can probably go just about anywhere with you and be ready to go on a hike, a run or just a leisure walk. If you would like to meet this lovely gal, stop by the Eastside shelter for a visit.

Join Animal Welfare for the Pups and Pints adoption event at Canteen Brewhouse on Saturday, April 27th from 12:00pm – 3:00pm, located at 2381 Aztec Rd NE. All adoption fees will be waived and each adoption will include spay/neuter, microchip, and required vaccinations.
Spring into Summer with the City of Albuquerque and other city departments at Barelas Park and Community Center on Saturday, April 27th from 10:00am – 2:00pm. There will be live music, games, food trucks and Animal Welfare will be on site with adoptable dogs. Fees are waived and each adoption will include spay/neuter, microchip and required vaccinations.
To view and/or adopt pets, simply arrive at either of the open location. We are not able to move a pet from one location to another for your viewing. Anyone wanting to adopt a pet visit our website at www.cabq.gov/pets to see available pets.
