A crew on a flight used duct tape to hold down a drunk passenger in his seat.

The flight was about 2-hours outside of JFK on the way to Jamaica when the 46-year-old drank an entire bottle of alcohol, then started downing mini-bottles.

He was assaulting people, he tried groping a woman, and he kept screaming the plane was going down.

Two passengers and an off-duty captain on board helped contain the man…they used flex cuffs and then duct taped him in the seat. They also put tape on his mouth so he couldn't scream and harass people anymore.

Cops met the plane at the airport and took him to the hospital for alcohol poisoning.

He won't be charged because passengers didn't come forward with specific threats.
