We all love vacation time off. But it's a process of requesting time time off, getting the boss to say it's okay for you to be out of the office, and more. But how would you feel if you just had unlimited time off? Well, not really unlimited time off, but "discretionary time off." This is the new time off policy for Microsoft and according to CBS news, and an inside source at Microsoft.
Work changed a LOT during the pandemic and after, Microsoft has learned to give employees what they want, a place they can get their work done by adopting the discretionary time off model that allows employees to pick and choose how and where they get their work done...as long as they get it done. Microsoft will also have 10 corporat paid holidays for employees. So how does working for them sound now?
