The “Jackass” franchise is going back to its roots…sort of. After starting on television on MTV, and launching into a mega-successful film series, the gang is now making the move back to television with a new rebooted series for Paramount+. “Jackass Forever” did “better than expected” at the box office, so Paramount Global CEO Bob Bakish said it was a no-brainer work up a partnership with the “Jackass” creators to put a new series together. It remains to be seen who from the original crew will be a part of it, and how much Johnny Knoxville will be involved after publicly stating that he thought it might be time to hand over the reins to a new generation.
