It looks like Foo Fighters are going to put out their new album even if they can't tour behind it.
A couple of fans noticed the band's FF logo next to an X, the Roman numeral for 10, at various locations in California over the past week. Dave Grohl said in interviews back in spring that the band had finished the album in time for the start of their 25th anniversary tour, which of course got sidelined due to the pandemic.
And the buzz of a new album on the way soon just got louder, as NBC announced today (Wednesday) that the band would be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live for the episode hosted by Dave Chapelle. It's the eighth time the group has been the musical guest on the show. And after the SNL announcement, the group posted a video teasing LPX on Twitter.
Foo Fighters' last album was 2017's Concrete and Gold.
