Megadeth fans don’t have that much longer to wait for the band’s new album. In a new interview, Dave Mustaine says that after two years of road bumps, the band is almost ready to wrap things up in the studio.
As of now, Dave says the band’s new album officially has a “due date.” Reflecting on his “busy last two years,” the rocker says the band has been talking about the final steps to wrap up the new record… which includes him getting in the studio to lay down vocals and guitar solos, nearly a year after being officially declared “100-percent” free of throat cancer.
“We were getting ready to start to record and then stuff started going wrong with my throat and we found out about cancer,” Dave says. “We've got a little bit of work [left as] we're wrapping up with the record before I get ready to start singing and doing my guitar solos.”
