Shawn Crahan said that Slipknot was working on new material back in October. And now Corey Taylor says we might hear it next year.
Taylor e said, "The plan right now with Slipknot is to try and a.) finish up the touring next year, and b.) we're thinking about kind of putting another album out maybe next year. But I don't know. I don't know what the [exact] plan is yet."
Taylor added, "I know that we were talking about doing it, 'cause we only have one album left on our contract." (Slipknot has been signed with Roadrunner since 1999.)
In other Slipknot news, Funko is releasing new figures of Corey Taylor, Sid Wilson and Craig Jones on February 7th.
And in Corey Taylor solo news, his song "HWY 666" is the official theme song of WWE's Tables, Ladders and Chairs pay-per-view event on December 20th.
