Sammy Hagar and The Circle will release a compilation of the various tracks they've recorded this year and posted videos of online as part of their remote "Lockdown Sessions."
Lockdown 2020 will be out January 8th, and it includes covers of "Won’t Get Fooled Again" by The Who, "Three Little Birds" from Bob Marley, "Whole Lotta Rosie" by AC/DC, "For What It's Worth" by Buffalo Springfield and three Van Halen songs from when Hagar and Circle bassist Michael Anthony were in the band -- "Good Enough," "Right Now" and "Don’t Tell Me What Love Can Do."
Hagar and the band recently recorded a cover of "Heroes" by David Bowie, which is the first single. Proceeds from that track will go to various food banks.
