Ronnie James Dio’s Stand Up and Shout Cancer Fund has big plans to celebrate what would’ve been the late rock legend’s 79th birthday. Next month, the charity will host a global livestream fundraising event featuring some special guests.
The livestream event will feature interviews, birthday messages, and performances from members of Black Sabbath, Gun’ Roses, Alice Cooper, Journey, Deep Purple, Frank Zappa Band, Hollywood Vampires, Quiet Riot, and more. Ronnie’s Dio band members will also appear at the event: Simon Wright, Oni Logan, Scott Warren, Bjorn Englen, and Rowan Robertson.
