This storm turned out to be a great one for the resorts! New snow here is as of Saturday morning with storm totals since Tuesday. We’re now go0nna have a break from the snow with maybe some more coming in a few days. A few highlights: Santa Fe has adjusted lift hours due to the time change… Angel Fire and Red River are now closed for the season... Pajarito, Ski Apache and Purgatory have all announced extensions to their season; see the dates below… Wolf Creek has College Day this coming Sunday.

Sandia Peak:

Not open this season. The Tram is open 9am-8pm (last Tram up), Wednesday thru Monday. For the restaurant, visit ten3tram.com for information. Weather can occur unexpectedly on the mountain causing delays/closures. Tram status is listed at SandiaPeak.com.

Notes: Because of the time change, lifts hours have changed a bit. The lower mountain lifts will be open 9:30am - 4:30pm and all upper mountain lifts will be open 9:30am - 4:15pm. Thanks to all the snow this season, closing day has been pushed out a week to April 16. The Slush Cup will be on Saturday, April 15 which will include pond skimming, live music and cold drinks at Totemoff’s.

Athletes from far and wide are at TAOS Ski Valley to test themselves against the resort's famed steeps, chasing the top podium spot and trying to get one step closer to making the Freeride World Tour. In conjunction with the International Freeskiers and Snowboarders Association and the Freeride World Tour, we are thrilled to host a 3* Freeride Competition and one of the three 4* Championship Series stops. Notes: Thanks to the all the late-season snow, they are extending the season. This weekend, there will be no grill service, but packaged snacks will be available. The regular restrooms are also closed, but porta-potties will be available. They will be open Friday through Sunday until April 2 or as long as snow allows.

Angel Fire:

Notes: Closed for the winter season. Looking ahead to the summer biking season, Gravity Passes are on sale now, and they’re offering them for the same price as last year through opening day (May 19th). Take advantage of the lowest price of the season and secure your summer downhill riding for: Adult (16+) $375, Teen & Junior (7 - 15) $325, Child (6 & Under) $50, Military (Active or Retired) $325. The Bike Park will open early on Thursday, May 18th, for Gravity Passholders and Angel Fire Resort Members. Lifts will spin Friday-Sunday through May 29th, when they will be open 7 days a week until Labor Day. Then, return to Friday-Sunday operations until October 29th.

And they plan to keep Lift 1 turning Saturdays and Sundays through April 23.

This Sunday, March 26th is College Day! Students with a current class schedule and valid college photo ID can purchase a lift ticket for $62! Projected closing date is Sunday, April 9, but this is not yet confirmed.
