We all went “WHAT” with that massive crash during Phase 1 of the Tour De France. As you’ll recall, some woman was seen holding a sign that translated to “Go Grandma & Grandpa.” That sign ended up hitting rider Tony Martin, which caused him to fall and created a domino effect that sent dozens of cyclists to the ground, injuring several. She split immediately after “the incident” and the search for her is over. Worse (for her)? French authorities clearly want to make an example out of this woman to discourage other spectators from interfering with the race...and, if convicted, she could get find upwards of $35K and two years in jail.
