ZZ Top kept their promise to bassist Dusty Hill and resumed their tour on Friday night in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, two days after he unexpectedly died in his sleep at the age of 72.
After opening with "Got Me Under Pressure," Billy Gibbons said, "We’re gonna have a good time in here tonight. Got a new guy up here, as you know. Dusty gave me the directive. My friend, your pal, [the band's longtime guitar tech] Elwood Francis is gonna hold it down behind me.”
