As we previously told you, the nation’s largest concert promoter, Live Nation, originally said they were going to leave it up to artists to decide whether they will require vaccinations or COVID tests to attend shows. Well, now they’ve changed their policy.
The company announced that like AEG, they are now requiring concert goers show proof of full vaccination or a negative test at their venues and upcoming festivals. The new protocols go into affect October 4th.
"Vaccines are going to be your ticket back to shows,” Live Nation president and CEO Michael Rapino said in a statement, “and as of October 4th we will be following the model we developed for Lollapalooza and requiring this for artists, fans and employees at Live Nation venues and festivals everywhere possible in the US.”
Those working for Live Nation will also have to be vaccinated by October 4thto visit their offices, events or venues.
