Ozzy Osbourne jokingly says that faith in the devil kept him from catching COVID when various family members came down with it.
Osbourne tells Metal Hammer, "My wife had the virus, my daughter had the virus, and I never got it. Being a devil worshipper does have its good points!" Of course, Ozzy has had his share of ailments over the past few years, and will undergo surgery on his neck and back this fall to help fix issues from his fall in 2019.
As for his next album with an all-star backing cast, Ozzy says, "It’s going to be similar in tone to Ordinary Man, but I can’t describe it completely. I’ve not heard it for a while because it keeps going over to the next person to add their parts -- we’re [messing] around with it all the time."
Musicians who play on the album include Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Tony Iommi, Zakk Wylde, Chad Smith of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Robert Trujillo of Metallica and Taylor Hawkins of Foo Fighters
