A TikTok video posted by Meredith Sanders, the mother of a percussionist who spins around in a large gyroscope while accompanying his Virginia high school's marching band, has attracted the attention of, and a favorable comment from, the world's most famous spinning drummer,Tommy Lee of Motley Crue.
After seeing the viral clip on the website Consequence of Sound, Lee wrote, "“Hahahahah!!! Yes…Another man refusing to play drums the way they were intended to be played!!!”
The original TikTok video used the music of AC/DC's "Thunderstruck," but after Sanders read Lee's comment, she prepared a second one featuring Motley Crue's "Dr. Feelgood." Answering a request, she also posted a third clip on TikTok, featuring the original sound of the marching band.
