Tom Petty's oldest daughter Adria says the new documentary about her late dad, Somewhere You Feel Free: The Making of Wildflowers, shows his funny side.

She tells Entertainment Tonight, "My dad was so full of love and joy and loved being creative so much. You pick up that spirit when you watch this. It’s like getting to visit with him. A bonus ticket to see my dad...

"In this movie, you see him laughing and joking around. He’s the funniest person on this Earth. I miss seeing my daughter with him. Still have him in my contacts because I want to call him. I am just proud of him...

"He would’ve loved this documentary. He would’ve been so blown away that we even found this."

Petty died of an accidental drug overdose on October 2nd 2017. He was 66.

The 90-minuteSomewhere You Feel Free: The Making of Wildflowers contains new interviews and a collection of 16-millimeter film shot from 1993 to 1995. It's streaming for free on YouTube.
