More details have emerged about Geddy Lee's cameo this coming Monday on Murdoch Mysteries, the long running Canadian detective series set in the early 1900s.
He plays a carriage driver named Thomas Sawyer who escorts Detective Murdoch and Dr. Julia Ogden for a relaxing retreat when they have a breakdown.
Geddy says it came about after he met the show's star, Yannick Bisson, at a fundraising event and he suggested he come to the set.
Murdoch Mysteries airs on Monday at 8pm on CBC. The show also airs in syndication in the U.S. – check local listings.
