QUEEN: Go Platinum. Jubilee, That Is

Queen and Adam Lambert provided a spectacular opening as the leadoff act for Saturday's Platinum Party at the Palace, the multi-artist concert in front of London's Buckingham Palace in celebration of 70 years of Queen Elizabeth the Second's reign.

The even let Her Majesty upstage them just a bit when they incorporated pre-shot footage of her and teatime companion Paddington Bear tapping her teacup along to the beat of their opening number, "We Will Rock You." The song was one of three Queen performed, following it with "Don't Stop Me Now" and "We Are the Champions."

Queen were followed by over 20 more acts, including Elton John, who pre-recorded his performance of "Your Song" at Windsor Castle, Rod StewartDuran DuranAlicia KeysGeorge Ezra and closer Diana Ross. The Royal Family -- other than Queen herself, who didn't attend due to ongoing "mobility issues" and the conspicuously absent Prince Harry and Meghan Markle -- were well represented in the crowd of 22,000.
