A new vegan burger that tastes like human flesh is bringing home awards at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity.
Complaints that vegan meat never tasted like beef propelled a Swedish company to create a plant-based meat that instead tastes like human flesh, and it seems to be paying off.
The company made sure to make the burger as "lifelike" as possible, using soy, mushrooms, wheat proteins, and a "mystery spice mix". The company's brand leader said they were all very proud that their hard work is being rewarded.
They guarantee no humans were hurt in the making of their patties. They say “This is our ultimate and weird way of showing that it’s possible to create any type of food by using just plants.”
