Ozzy Osbourne did more than just lip sync in the video for "Patient Number 9," the title track of his forthcoming album.
Produced by comic book creator, artist and filmmaker Todd McFarlane, Ozzy says it's the "first-ever video to incorporate my hand-drawn artwork. My demons were animated and can be seen during the Jeff Beck guitar solo in the song."
“Patient Number 9” recently debuted at number-one on Billboard’s Hard Rock Songs chart.
As for the album, Ozzy's backing band includes producer Andrew Watt, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, and Duff McKagan of Guns n' Roses, who all played on his last album, 2020's Ordinary Man.
Joining them are Metallica’s Robert Trujillo, Chris Chaney of Jane's Addiction and the late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins.
And, joining Jeff Beck as guest lead guitarists are Eric Clapton, Ozzy's longtime collaborator Zakk Wylde, Black Sabbath's Tony Iommi, and Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready.
Patient Number 9 will be out on September 9th.
