New Mexico PBS (NMPBS) are announcing a special premiere screening of the Navajo Dub Version of the classic Western film A Fistful of Dollars.
The movie will be shown for free at 7:00pm (doors open at 6:30pm) on Aug. 16, 2022 at the KiMo Theatre, 423 Central Ave. NW. You should get tickets in advance.

This celebration and screening will be captured by a film crew from Providence Pictures, and featured in Season 2 of the PBS series NATIVE AMERICA. Four new hour-long episodes slated to premiere in 2023 will build on the foundation of the acclaimed original series, which premiered in 2018 and tied the history of some of the world’s greatest civilizations to thriving communities today. NATIVE AMERICA Season 2 presents stories that seek to elevate contemporary Indigenous voices and highlight the accomplishments of America’s Native communities. It is a chance for both the cast and the attendees to see themselves on national TV. Funding for NATIVE AMERICA Season 2 was provided by Anne Ray Foundation. While the August 16th screening of the Navajo Dub Version of A Fistful of Dollars is FREE and open to the public, registration is requested and is first-come-first-served.
