A Disturbed fan that thought they were pointing out an online impersonator to David Draiman discovered that yes, the singer is on Tinder.
Draiman is newly single after getting divorced from his wife Lena after 11 years of marriage. Over the weekend a fan tweeted a screenshot of a Tinder account that showed Draiman cuddling with a dog and wrote, "Dude you see this? ! I'm tagging you because I believe it's fake."
Draiman replied, "Not fake lol. It's me." When the fan wrote, "My bad bro for assuming," Draiman responded, "All good. You'd be surprised. It's hard for a guy like me to meet the right woman. I'll tell you, it's been weird so far. Lots of scammers. Trying to figure out how to navigate this new terrain."
When one person responded with, "Read: David Draiman can't get laid anymore," Draiman wrote back, "I can get laid anytime I want if I'm willing to drop my standards, but my standards are quite high, and I won't dishonor myself that way. Looking for the RIGHT woman, not just ANY woman."
And once word got out that it was really Draiman on Tinder, using the app became impossible. He tweeted on Monday morning, "Holy dumpster fire Batman. Tinder was an absolute [crap]show. Scammers, grifters, fakes and phonies abound. What a colossal nightmare. Deleted it."
