Ghost are all about the covers these days. As the band prepares to release new album “Phantomime,” Ghost has dropped their second cover- this time of Iron Maiden’s “Phantom Of The Opera.”
The new track follows Ghost’s recently-released version of Genesis’ “Jesus He Knows Me.” "When I was a kid, I was sitting with (Maiden’s 1985 live album) 'Live After Death' record and I was dead set on wanting to become a professional musician and I wanted to tour,” confessed frontman Tobias Forge. Ghost has also had the chance to tour with Iron Maiden, saying the experience went “amazingly well.”
“Phantomime,” the five-song album of covers, is due out on Thursday (May 18th). You can take a look at the track list below.
