Howdy! The City of Albuquerque Animal Welfare Department (AWD) shelter pets are ready to lasso your heart on Saturday, September 28 through Sunday, September 29. The adoption fee is waived for all pets. All adoptions include spay or neuter, pet tag, microchip, required vaccinations and one free initial vet visit. AWD is also offering one day of free basic dog training with every adoption.
