The legendary Vinnie Paul was working on a cookbook titled “Drumming Up An Appetite With Vinnie Paul” before he died in 2018, and on his birthday yesterday it was finally released. The cookbook is structured into three chapters: “Reinventing The Meal” about main courses, “Far Beyond Kitchen” for side dishes, and “A Vulgar Display Of Flour” covering desserts.
Comedian and close friend Carrot Top provides the foreword, sharing personal anecdotes that highlight Vinnie's love for cooking and entertaining. The afterword, penned by Vinnie's best friend and personal assistant Brian "Bridog" Jones, talks about Paul’s legendary Sunday gatherings where he would make lavish meals for friends, family, and fellow musicians.
The cookbook is available from the publisher’s webstore in both the regular format and in a deluxe edition with extra things like a “Cooking Hostile” apron and a Hellyeah University Vinnie Paul Cooking Diploma.
