Dave Chappelle is OK after someone attacked him while onstage at the Hollywood Bowl last night. Police arrested the culprit and they confiscated a replica gun and a knife. (KABC-TV News)
Once Chappelle's personal security cleared the Hollywood Bowl stage, the comedian composed himself and joked, “It was a trans man.” He has been criticized over the years for remarks he's made about the LGBTQ community. He also thanked Jamie Foxx, who was at the show and actually ran out on stage to protect him from the attacker. Chris Rock was also backstage and later asked Chappelle, "Was that Will Smith?"
