David Gilmour used the break in his five night run at Madison Square Garden in New York City to make an appearance Thursday on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.
Gilmour had a chat with Fallon where he talked about working with his family on his new album, Luck and Strange, and also joked about the theory of Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon synching up with The Wizard of Oz.
Then Gilmour was joined by The Roots to play "Dark and Velvet Nights" from Luck and Strange.
Watch both on YouTube. Gilmour wraps up his stand at the Garden Saturday and Sunday nights.
